one of the things i adore about kristen is that when i call her on my way home from work and say: 

'put on the red dress in my closet - i want to take pictures of you in the rain'

she hangs up on me.

it was POURING outside. lightning, thunder, the whole nine-yards.

but then i get home and she's wearing it.

let me start off this post by saying:

i have a HUGE family.

today you'll get to see part of them :) the CREASON part of them! 

*later this week you get to see the BEALE part of them

when david (my uncle) told me he had bid on my gift certificate at a local charity auction i was ecstatic!! 

then he told me he needed me to photograph 16 people and my heart sank a little - i was SO SCARED.

buuuuut... i couldn't have asked for a better family :) 

the adults listened (for the most part... *cough* paul *caugh*)

this is maw-maw and becca (my cousin - i graduated 5th grad the same year she graduated high school.  

i thought i was super cool sharing a graduation day with her)

and sometimes he would get past level 3 for me - navigating that molten lava on a rug just terrified me)

it's been forever. i know. BUT GIVE ME A BREAK! i'm MOVING for goodness sake :)

and the move hasn't really even happened yet!  

i'm currently house-sitting (it's my thing, apparently) and won't really be 'home' 

(aka an APARTMENT with TWO bedrooms: one for me and one for MAH OFFICE. so jazzed)
for another week and a half. 

everything is kindof crazy right now, 

and i have shoots coming up in the next two weeks that have my heart all aflutter :)

but i just NEEDED to share this cutie with you - conner. my favorite little one year old ever.

contacted me a hot second ago with the idea of doing a cake smash for her 

baby boy's 1st birthday and i was ALLLLLLL about it! 

his birthday was actually the BEGINNING of may... so as you can tell i'm SUPER behind on blogging!

here's to catching up! and keeping up! as the madness of really moving ensues :)

you may remember summer's senior session from last fall.  

well she's still just as cute and even sweeter! and she's also about to GRADUATE :) 

her mama contacted me about taking cap and gown portraits and some of her in her tennis uniform 

(go lady dukes!) - and i also got to meet more of her family!!

we hung out in front of whs for these - thanks for being such a good sport summer :)

i. love. hairbows. and i'm slightly jealous... their uniforms are WAY cuter than ours were!
